From Concern To Perfection

The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
— Psalm 138:8

When you love someone deeply, you feel what they feel. Their concerns become your concerns. When we have a concern it concerns our Heavenly Father also because He cares for us. He is merciful and understanding.

Psalm 138 tells me that the Lord will perfect that which concerns me.

He will take whatever it is and use it for good. Change a concern into an opportunity. God is perfection and He can restore anything and everything to perfection.

Every aspect of our lives is safe in His more than capable hands. Our hopes, our dreams, our relationships, our needs, our entire lives.

Notice the last part, "forsake not the works of thine own hands." We still have a part to play. We must seek God, ask, pray, and praise Jehovah.

The work of our hands, our prayers, and our attempts at living our best lives may be clumsy and incomplete at best, but God can perfect.

To Ponder:

How can I let go and let God perfect my concerns?

Heavenly Father,

I leave my concerns with You. Bring my life in line with Your perfect will. Thank You. I Love You.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
