Power For The Weak

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
— Isaiah 40:29

Our relationship with God is a strengthening one.

When we are weak and weary God is there to lift us up. Do you have people in your life that just make you better? They believe in you no matter what. They help balance out your weaknesses.

God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9

We do not have to put up a front with God. We can come into His presence at our weakest. In fact, we must learn to acknowledge and accept our flaws and weaknesses in order to allow God to work through us in all we do.

When we give our hearts to mere humans, there is no guarantee of reciprocal love but with God, we always have that guarantee.

Is your broken heart all you have?

That's all God needs or wants. Give it to Him and He will put His light through all those cracks. He will strengthen you to move forward in your life with new purpose and a greater capacity to love no matter how broken you have been. The weaker you feel, the more He can work.

To Ponder:

Am I allowing God to compensate for my weaknesses? Or trying to get through on my own?

Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I come humbly before You and ask that you strengthen me to be all I want to be and more. Strengthen me to be kind even when I am tired and weary. Strengthen me for all the work my hands need to do. Strengthen me to love again through all the hurts of the past.

Put Your light in my heart to fill all the cracks and show Yourself strong through my life.
